General research interests are Momentum, Heat and Mass Transfer in engineering process equipment, exemplified by mixing processes of jets injected into swirling and non-swirling cross-flows, electrostatic precipitator flows, and particle deposition, all investigated by computational and experimental techniques. A particular interest is that of Bio-Fluid Mechanics of benthic filter-feeding animals such as mussels, worms, sponges and bryozoans, as well as the phytoplankton depletion above a sediment populated by filter-feeders.
